Hornet's custom built recording desk predominately features pre-amps with the wonderfully warm Neve 1073 sound featured on so many famous albums, and several 'American-style' pre-amps with the cleanliness, transparency, and brilliance which work best to make some instruments sparkle. Recording with Hornet is simple: just let him know what you need, and you can expect the studio to be ready for you to quickly get down to the business of making your vision a reality upon your arrival. Drummers can even take advantage of either of the studio's acoustic or electronic drum kits if they prefer not to bring in their own equipment. There are also guitars, bass guitars, amplifiers, a full-size 88-key weighted midi keyboard, and other instruments available for use.
Pricing
Studio time is $35 per hour, with a 4-hour minimum for bands, 2-hour minimum for solo artists. This provides you with a studio ready to your discussed needs, personalized attention while tracking, and .wav files of all tracks - clearly labeled and identifiable for your mixing engineer to easily start work on the next step of your project.
