Mastering takes your mix and transforms it into a masterpiece ready to be presented to the world.  It really is an art - and to be honest, mastering is not Buzzline Sounds' specialty.  I'd recommend you reach out to Rachel at Resonant Mastering to get much better, specialized service at still very reasonable rates.  But if they don't fit your budget, we can help.  Through processes including EQ, exciting or enhancing frequencies, adding warmth, increasing loudness, and creating proper fades and track spacing, Buzzline Sounds can make your music truly spring to life.  We can make your rock mix get the “in your face” full punchy sound you need, or crisply present your acoustic guitar duo with fresh and airy stereo breakout which lets your audience fully appreciate your song-writing skills.

I furnish the finished project in digital form optimized to make your song sound it's best, not for a particular form of distribution or streaming services.  I provide high resolution files and offer archiving, and am able to include appropriate metadata such as songwriting credits, etc.  I can even create a CD Master meeting Red Book standards if that's what you want!  I can also make arrangements to upload your files to whomever is doing your distribution or duplication.  Pip at Realtime in Seattle is my favorite for duplication.

Mastering Only projects:  Files submitted should be WAV files at the session's native sample and bit rate. It's important to have some headroom available on the tracks or stems - meaning they have peaks less than 0db - and those peak levels are not artificially reduced by having any master bus compression or limiting applied. Finished songs are delivered as downloadable Red Book Standard .WAV files. Sequencing is available for EP's and Albums.

Note:  If you are planning your release to be on vinyl, there are special requirements that need to be considered, and a mastering engineer familiar with those skills and tools should be found.
