Mastering
Give Your Music the Finish It Deserves
Mastering is the final step before your music is released to the world. A good master brings consistency, clarity, and polish to your mix while ensuring it translates well across everything from earbuds and car stereos to studio monitors.
While Buzzline Sounds offers mastering services, I also believe in being transparent. Mastering is a highly specialized discipline, and for artists seeking dedicated mastering from a full-time specialist, I’m happy to recommend Rachel at Resonant Mastering.
If a specialized mastering house isn’t the right fit for your project or budget, I’d be glad to master your music and help prepare it for release.
Every master receives careful attention to tonal balance, dynamics, stereo image, loudness, spacing, fades, and overall consistency. The goal isn’t simply to make your music louder—it’s to make it sound natural, engaging, and ready for listeners wherever they press play.
For mastering-only projects, please provide stereo WAV files at their original sample rate and bit depth. Leave sufficient headroom by avoiding clipping, limiting, or heavy master bus processing. If you’re unsure whether your mix is ready, I’m happy to take a quick listen before you send it.

Planning a vinyl release?
Vinyl mastering has unique technical requirements that differ from digital releases. If your project is destined for vinyl, I recommend working with a mastering engineer who specializes in preparing masters specifically for that format.
